Who ever heard of a fan belt toss lasting 3 days?? Well this is the 31st annual convention of Chevrolet Corvairs! Vintage Corsa, Orange County’s official Corvair Car Club, hosted the event. This is also the first time in 17 years that the largest gathering of Corvair enthusiasts in the West will be in Orange County, CA.

between ’60 and ’69. In ’60 this air-cooled rear engined, unibody constructed American built car was named “Car of the Year” by Motor Trend magazine. Various models included 2 and 4 doors, convertibles, station wagons, pickups, and passenger vans. The 9 passenger Greenbrier van was originally

classified as a station wagon and is widely considered to be the forerunner of the minivan.

The weather was warm and sunny. Along with all the California cars, others came from Hawaii, Utah, Colorado and Idaho. This event is also a swap meet. 15 vendors were selling everything from vintage Corvair parts to a Corvair powered ski boat.

Thanks for the Show!
