Richard

"The Annual Lone Star Street Road Association's get together in Fredericksburg, Texas is probably the largest outdoor meet in Central Texas, and has been a favorite place to "debut" new cars for a while.

The show takes place in Lady Bird Johnson State Park, which features lots of shade and rolling hills, and is an ideal venue for this kind of show.

The LSSRA does have a pre '49 restriction and also requires membership to show a car, but with that membership comes a regular newsletter.

The viewing public turns out in numbers that show what a favorite this is. And because of the pre '49 limitation, the parking lot is a car show of it's own with all the '49 and above cars.

Getting to Fredericksburg requires a lovely drive through the Texas hill country and a stop in Luchenback for some to see if Willie is hanging around." Richard "Too Low" Haas
