photo taken with Barb Hamilton and that beautiful Willy's she has always had. She has only replaced tires and a battery, otherwise the car is as it was 40 years ago when she was racing. All original, 40 year old wires and all. Meeting her was a thrill.
We also got to see the Stone, Woods and Cook car, and the pleasure of watching both Barb, and the SW&C car make a solo run down the strip. What memories we are left with.
There were a lot of Anglia's, Henry J's, Bantoms, 33 Willy's and 40-41 too. They were all a sight to see and remember. My favorite racer was Happy Pappy. We didn't stay for the Sunday show, so I can not tell you who the winners were, but it was a great way to begin the summer full of cars.
