Marty & Patty Pierson owners of Marty’s Chop Shop of Hall New York would like to thank everyone who attended and showed their support in the fight against Cancer.
With the help of your generous donations Marty’s Chop Shop Hot Rod Gathering was able to raise $2500.00 to donate to the Sands Cancer Center in Memory of Carl Tomion. What a day, the sun was shining and everywhere you looked there was a Custom Cars, Hot Rods, Trucks, Bikes and everything in between! We had well over 300 participants in our Hot Rod Gathering. People came from as far away as Southern Tier, Syracuse, Rochester and Buffalo.
Carl Tomion would be very proud of all of us! It would be a very long letter if we listed everyone that helped us raise our goal. Without the help of some very special people, Our Family & Close Friends, Millco Woodworking, Seedway, Larry Johnson Snap-On-Tools, Casella Waste Management, Vonnie’s Boathouse, Minns Farms, Hall Fire Department, Geneva General Youth Hockey Assoc and Lakeland we could not have pull this off. Other local businesses to name a few that supplied door prizes were, Beth & Bruce Tomion, Carquest of Penn Yan & Geneva, Jegs, Seedway, Finger Lakes Engine, Gevo’s Rears & Gears, Keuka Packaging, Quackenbush Hareware and Tomion Farms. Of course the many participants who attended the show as without them there would not have been a opportunity to raise the funds we donated.
