Summer finally arrived in the Pacific Northwest. The temperature was in the low 80’s and the cool breeze off the bay at Memorial Field in Port Townsend made for perfect conditions for a Show & Shine. Around 150 cars attended the Rakers event and everyone had smiles on their faces as they browsed through the rows of jelly bean colored classics. Wayne King and Jerry King
thrilled the crowd by firing off their vintage 60’s dragster and the smell of Nitro was in the air. This is always a great show and the added attraction is the beautiful historic city of Port Townsend with the sparkling blue water backdrop and the towering brick buildings that line the streets. Enjoy, Lindee
