On Saturday, May 3rd, my buddy Carl Libucha and I trucked over to the Dutchess County Fairgrounds in Rhinebeck, NY for the Hudson River Valley Antique Auto Association’s “Spring Dust Off Swap Meet and Car Show”. The weather forecast was for a 60% chance of rain and with the price of gas these days, we did not know what kind of turnout to expect, but we both wanted a day out looking at cars, parts and automobilia. The turnout was down (I’d guess by about 20%), but there was only a few sprinkles at the fairgrounds, although some guys said they hit heavy rains on their way there. A few thousand diehards wandered the grounds and had a good time doing it; we all know car guys are the BEST and won’t let the current state of affairs stop them....Hope you enjoy the pictures I took!
