Easily the longest running Houston area outdoor car show is the annual Spring Fling held at the Knights of Columbus Hall just east of the city. If you want to see what’s new, just make it to the Spring Fling and it’s a good chance it’ll be there. The event is

put on by the Southwest Street Machines and besides being the oldest, it’s the second largest show in and/or around the Houston area.

The show has something for everyone including cash awards, NSRA Safety Inspections, vendors, event t-shirts, a Sunday morning church service and door prizes including the Grand Door Prize of a complete Ford 5.0L engine.
