    SEMA  stands for  Specialty Equipment Manufacturers Association and covers every type of product or service associated with the automotive industry.    The purpose of the show is to give manufacturers a place where they can show their product line to people who have businesses in the industry .....   retailers,   repair shops,  builders,  anyone who has an automotive related business can attend the SEMA show ... it’s not open to the general public.

    We even saw Edsel Ford checking out all the good stuff.  Right after we snapped this shot we had a chance to talk with Edsel for a few minutes....  had to tell him how much we like that Harley Truck we got last year !   We last saw him at the 75th Anniversary of the Deuce celebration in Pomona.

          Though we talk several times a year, we don’t get face to face often.... usually just at SEMA... so it’s good to see the Meadors crew.  Be sure to check out the 2009 Good Guys Schedule and remember there are still more events in  08.

   K & N Filters are amazing.... this company started because of the need of racers and has gone on to become a staple for car enthusiasts and every day drivers.  Great product.

   Now here’s something you ALL need to have...  Hotrodhotine.com  recently tested the Blackline  Snitch ... a GPS  theft tracking device.  This device can be put in your glove box,  under your  seat... anywhere ... and if your car is stolen you can go online and TRACK it !   The device can be moved between cars.  It doesn’t need to be wired in ... it is so versatile and with the rising theft rate for rods and trailers.... it’s a MUST HAVE.  Watch for our review article soon.
