The Sultans Car Club of Long Beach, CA. have been around for about 44 years. Today the club is still going strong with 35 members. The current President Rich Floyd said “This is the 18th year of their car show and it has always been held on the grass at beautiful Signal Hill Park.” The old, well maintained trees provided shade for over 200 pre-’75 cars. The best thing about this show is that you will see all styles of cars, Classics, Lowriders, Street Rods, Customs, Hot Rods and Motorcycles. Even one right hand drive Riley showed up?

The live music was provided by “Sultan” Johnny Rocket & the V-Twins. A nice selection of 30 or so interesting vendors booths lined the parking lot. The event also had a raffle, 50/50 and a great BBQ. The “special” awards included some that were handmade. Thanks for the Show!

A 3” chop makes this ’47 Chevy Sedan Delivery look sleek, but the blown 355 cu in Chevy makes it look “BAD”. The owner is Angelo Palmer of Downey, CA

Do you think Steve Almazan knew he was making the tree look so good when he parked his suede ’41 Chevy Fleetline there?
