Cubby and his 38 Chevy

One of the premiere automotive shows in the western United States—the 37th Annual Boise Roadster Show presented by Les Schwab Tires returned to Expo Idaho on Thursday thru Sunday, March 12th-15th.

By special arrangement the famed Batmobile appeared on behalf of Hollywood’s George Barris, the Hall of Fame builder who has become a legend in his own right as the “King of the Kustomizers”. Originally built for the t.v. show Batman in 1966, it has certainly become one of the most recognizable cars in the history of the automobile, not to mention one of the most collectible, too, when you look at all the toys and die cast cars created over nearly five decades.

World Drag Racing Champion Jack Harris was at the show in person. Harris was showcasing his 240 mile per hour

“Nitro Thunder” AA/Funny Car, which is a former Pepsi Nightfire Nationals winning nitro flopper.

The New family does a tremendous job in putting on this show. Visit their website at www.firebirdonline.com
