"One of the most anticipated events of the year in the Austin, Texas area, is the Kontinentals Car Club "Day Of The Drag Races". This nostalgia drag race event takes place at the nearby, historic Little River Drag Strip and is a "run what ya brung" get together. Every year seems to draw more hot rods, customs, gassers, jacked up front end 1/4 milers, wheelie-barred, fuel-injected, back yard built , race cars than last year, and this year was no exception!
The Little River drag strip is nestled in among the pecan trees and is an ideal place to tune up, kick back, burn rubber, and fire up the BBQ pit! In Too Low's humble opinion, the only fault with this event is that it only takes place once a year!!"
