The European Street Rod Association Nationals are held every year in a different EU country. In 2007 we visited FRANCE
http://www.hotrodhotline.com/feature/2007show/07europeansrn.
The 2008 ESRA Tour showed us the beautiful Switzerland, http://www.hotrodhotline.com/feature/2008show/08esrnmatthias and this year was SWEDEN on the schedule.

Our 2000 mile tour started in Frankfurt/Germany, we drove across Germany to Kiel, where we shipped over to Gteborg/Sweden. First stop was the Wheels & Wings Show in Varberg. Historic

Airplanes and American Classic Cars fit well together. The organized Cruising in Downtown Varberg was a lot of fun. Some thousand American cars cruised down the 2 mile cruising alley. Many thousand spectators showed up. In Sweden, it’s not allowed, to drink & drive, the driver must have zero alcohol. But, Beer & alcohol. In a Car it is Ok. Passengers can drink & party as much as they want ! It was a big party, lots of friendly nice people, we had lots of fun.

We drove from Varberg along Lake Vättern to Linkping and stayed there 7 nights in a hotel.

For one day we cruised to STOCKHOLM and did a nice sightseeing tour. Some tanks full of gas were spent during sightseeing cruises around Linkping.

The European Street Rod Nats were held at the Mantorp Park Raceway, togehter with the Veidec Drag Race Vestival, from Wednesday till Saturday. It was a well organized show, the Flatlanders Hot Rod Club & the Swedish Street Rod Association did a great job!

We met Street Rodders from Great Britain, Swiss, Denmark, Norway, Belgium, France and a lot more. The UK NSRA Rodders drove some thousand miles,. The Long Distance award went to a Rodder from South France.

Our 5 Street Rods run the whole tour without any major problems!

The 2010 ESRA Nats will be in Great Britain during the NSRA HotRodSuperNats. The 2011 ESRA Nationals will be in Belgium
