James Irven Poetker-Baker

June 16, 1936 - March 27, 2009

Debbie Baker has been the driving force behind Cruisin For A Cure, www.cruisinforacure.com the country’s largest one day car show/cruise, whose income all goes toward finding a cure for prostate cancer. She formed this effort when her husband, Jim, was diagnosed with this dreaded disease some 10 years or so ago. Sadly, the cancer took Jim recently. Debbie threw a party to honor his memory in Irvine, Ca on April 18, and it was one of the greatest tributes that I have ever witnessed.
