Saturday’s Kitsap Car Kruz during the Harbor Festival in Bremerton, Washington was like stepping back in time for Bill and I. We haven’t been in downtown Bremerton for many many years, even though we live very close. It has changed since we cruised town in an endless chain of cars for endless hours in the late 60’s. We had a great time recalling all of the memories created during that time on the once bustling Pacific Street. There are great efforts being

made by the local administration to revitalize the once glorious little town. 

The cars started lining the street early and we were pleased to see a good turn out to support local food banks. 

Bremerton is home to the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and it was fun to see the enlisted men dressed in uniforms similar to those that were worn in 40’s. It was a great day for a show and a walk down memory lane as well. Lindee

Thank You Lindee! It brings back memories for me also. I grew up in the area and went to Bremerton many times in the late 60’s and 70’s.
