BBQ
07-11-09
Santa Fe Springs, CA.
Story and photographs by Roger Rohrdanz

The scene around the Mooneyes Equipment BBQ was constantly changing; cars cruised by, some parked for a while, and then would leave. Cars fill the small parking lot in front of the historic yellow shop, and then the street is used. Across the street there is a small parking lot and store, which is used for additional parking.  At this annual event you can always expect the unexpected, unique, exceptional, & ridiculous. The cars are interesting too! Chico and his staff host this open house, parking lot sale, car show and BBQ all in one. My best guess at a car count would be around 150. Later the live entertainment would take over for the DJ.  Thanks for the Show!
