This year we had 44 cars on the tour of central Vancouver Island. We began at Parksville, drove south to Nanoose Bay, then north along a scenic route to the French Creek Marina for a coffee stop and a poker card. We continued north, Fanny Bay on the right, then a circle around and back to the Arrowsmith Golf Course for a great lunch.
Our trip continued south to Qualicum Beach then west to Englishman River Falls Park to see the spectacular sights. We picked another poker card and continued to Coombs Village and the Goats on the Roof for delicious ice cream.
There were no breakdowns, no traffic problems and as far as we know, nobody got lost even though the exercise is sometimes compared to herding cats!
Watch for the Drive Your Studebaker Day event, July 4th when you will see another herd of Hawks, bevies of Bullet-noses and flocks of Larks touring all over the world on this designated Studebaker Drivers event. Brian Curtis
