On March 14 & 15, 2008 The Goodguys brought their Meguiar’s sponsored “Orange County Get-Together” back to the Orange County Fairgrounds in Costa Mesa, CA.  The weather was a little cloudy with cool temperatures. Recession, what recession? Even with other car shows happening in the area, the Get-Together attracted almost 2000 cars and a nice crowd of over 30,000 spectators. With a 2-mile cruise route, and over 100 vendors displaying their wares it is easy to see why this event is so popular. While the guys are checking out the hot cars the gals are checking out the prices next door at the OC Swap Meet.

“The Street Challenge Autocross” was back. A mini road course was laid out using cones. Pass a quick basic tech inspection, and then take your car through the course as quickly as possible. It’s all free and very popular. Special thanks goes out to the sponsors of the “Autocross”, BFGoodrich and Air Ride.

On Sunday the award winners were displayed in plaza between the exhibit buildings.

Thanks for the Show!
