The Portland Swap Meet is one of our favorite swap meets....  it’s  just HUGE ...  about 4500 spaces at the expo center and about  1 mile away at  Portland International Raceway there’s  an “overflow” swap meet with  hundreds more spaces.    Hotrodhotline.com   usually has a booth at Portland but this year we decided to just  “walk” the swap meet and visit with friends and some of our advertisers.  Of course Jack had a list two pages long of  “stuff”  he needed for some of his projects.
The weather was great .....  very often it rains for the spring swap meet in Portland but this year we had a little rain on Friday but Saturday and Sunday were wonderful....  sunny  and in the low 70’s .....  what a weekend.   Jack got a few pictures .... but nothing can capture the experience so if you’ve never been to this swapmeet..... it’s worth a trip !

We also had a chance to talk to Brad at Superior Glass Works.  He’s done a marvelous job since taking over Superior a few years ago.  Take a look at  www.Superiorglassworks.com

Everyone we talk to thinks a lot of Brad.  And he keeps trying to talk us into adding a forum to Hotrodhotline.com     Maybe someday !

We’ve seen Coker Tire here for the past few years... lots of action at the Coker booth.  www.coker.com

We always have a great time at the Portland Swap Meet .....  so much treasure to poke through and of course we see so many of our friends there.  Next time we’ll have to be sure Jack spends more time taking pictures and less time digging through the “stuff” ....    See you on the road.
