Les’s 63 Ford Galaxie

On Sunday, October 4th, 2009 the Burbank Road Kings car club hosted their annual charity car show at the Santa Anita Race Track in Arcadia, California. This is an event like no other as it combines the splendor of the location and horse racing with the car show. What could be better than great weather, spectacular views of the mountains and palm trees, and of course cars, cars and more cars! This year the weather was spectacular and

although the turnout was slightly less than in years past the infield was still awash with classic cars, hotrods, and trucks, approximately 250 in all. A personal bonus for me was the attendance of my grandson; this was his 1st car show and I’m hoping there will be many more for us together. The car show officially opened to the public at 9 a.m. and concluded at 3 p.m. with the presentation of trophies. It’s a great venue for this event, the Burbank Road Kings run it with an expertise that only years of experience can develop, and we look forward to attending again next year.  Here’s the pictures…..enjoy!
