Birmingham is known as “The Magic City” and it lived up to that reputation with this year’s 38th annual O’Reilly World of Wheels. 325 cars, trucks and bikes filled two levels and all three exhibit halls of the spectacular Birmingham Jefferson Convention Complex.

This event has always drawn the most outstanding cars from the local area and some of the best national show cars as well. This year was no different, with top honors going to Harry and Linda Smith with their 1983 Chevy S10 Blazer for the Steve Tansy Award: Best First Time Shown Vehicle and Micheal Blackmon with his 2007 American Iron Horse Slammer for the John Meyer Memorial Award: Best First Time Shown Bike. The Peoples Choice Award, voted on by the show’s spectators, went to Tim Spencer and his 1966 Ford Mustang.

We would like to thank everyone who helped make this such a successful show. We look forward to seeing you all again in 2010!
