If it’s Tuesday Nite... It’s Rides @ Rutt’s Hutt.. One of the oldest places for HotRods in NJ to gather. Rutt's Hut is an original roadside stand that was opened in 1928 by Royal "Abe" Rutt and his wife, Anna. The magnificent hot dog is known as a ripper because its skin tears and crinkles when it is deep fried. The oil bath turns the pork-and-beef link rugged, dark, and chewy on the outside, while the interior remains soft and juicy. With mustard or spicy-sweet relish, this is one of America's great hot dogs. Rutt's Hut has been featured on the PBS special “A Hot Dog Program”, numerous Food Network shows, the Travel Channel's “Deep-Fried Paradise” ..NJoy the pics and the dogs were great too.
