Back to the Fifties  2010
Half the fun is getting there !
Story:  Jack Lawford

AE

The trip to any of the shows we exhibit at is half the fun .....   part travelogue where we see the beauty of our great country... and of course... half   “treasure hunt”.   Jack can catch the glimmer of a field of windshields sparkling in the sun from 100 miles away ... and smell an old car hidden behind a shed.   The road to Back to the Fifties in Minnesota is always a favorite.  It take us through beautiful country of  Island Park, Idaho,   West Yellowstone park,  through Montana and then on to the open farms of North Dakota and the lakes of Minnesota.  Some of the most beautiful space in our country ... and where  Jack always finds the hidden treasure of  cars in fields,  behind sheds and in all sorts of places....  Check out this years trip !

We normally don’t see a rod on the road so early in the trip but at a McDonalds in Pocatello, Id we came across this cool car.

F

We talked to the owners,  a great couple from Oregon who were on their way to Nebraska to a reunion... but  we lost their names.. so give us a call and we’ll give you credit for this great car !

Most of the field finds were in Montana along I 94  and I 90 ...
