On April 9th - 11th 2010 the Good-Guys Del Mar Nationals returned to the beautiful Del Mar fairgrounds in Southern California for the 10th time. Normally the show is held during the first weekend in April but was pushed back this year by one week due to Easter. The show was packed with cool cars from all over the country and many of those long-distance participants drove their cars thousands of miles to be there (ya’ gotta drive ‘em!). The weather was very comfortable all three days with Sunday being the coolest day; the fairground was packed with cars and people all weekend long. On Saturday the cars kept rolling in for a solid two hours after the gates opened; it was a rolling car show in itself. Once inside you could (and I did) spend all day walking and still not see everything. Guess that’s why they make it a three day event!
The combination of a world-class destination and thousands of amazing vehicles make Del Mar a “must do” event for many hot rodders. Hope to see you there next year!
