After a wet drive south from Ferndale at 7am we arrived to find several hundred cars had beat us to the main street of Stanwood, WA. where the members of the Idlers were already directing traffic and assisting with parking. After getting registered, breakfast was in order, and for only 5 bucks at the local legion. Pancakes, eggs, sausage, juice and coffee were devoured and gave us the energy to get the cars cleaned and ready for the day.
The show was exceptional and featured every make and model of car you could name! The final count was 432 entries. The participants and public were treated to a great day, the rain holding off until the trip back home. Thanks to all the volunteers for their hard work. We look forward to the next show.
