Frank Paterniti, President of SSMCC had his weather wishes not only met, but exceeded as sunshine, a light breeze, and 80 degree temperatures blessed his clubs efforts at the Fall show of the Muscle Car Club. Over 125 people entered cars in all catagories hoping for a chance to return home with one of the splendid trophies on display. Many repeat entrants were visible along with some new people who were able to enjoy the new location at Beef O'Bradys on the by-pass of Rt 50 in Brooksville, Florida. It was encouraging also to see so many female participants as well as the abundance of children who truly make the hobby a family event both for participants as well as for the appreciative audience. Ample shade and good music all added to the festive atmosphere as the many volunteers helped smooth the program and make the show even more enjoyable. Noted among the entries was Jay, a fellow HOTROD HOTLINE photographer who was enjoying his day as a participant and proud to display his gleaming El Camino and finally had the opportunity to sit and gab with other participants instead of having to take photos. The quality of the displayed cars was high and competition for the awards would make the judges jobs difficult...... but that’s what makes these shows so successful and helps urge each fellow competitor to take their car to the next level, all the while, enjoying the camaraderie
