The 32nd Annual Moorpark Car Show, hosted by the Roamin’ Relics car club, was held on Sunday, October 09, 2011, a few weeks earlier than previously held. The show is always well attended and this year was no different with just short of 400 vehicles taking over all of "old Moorpark" on High Street.
We arrived just before 6 a.m. and got in line to wait for the parking process to start at 7 a.m. Instead the Roamin’ Relics started getting us parked by at 6:30 a.m., a testament to their organizational skills; parking cut off was 9 a.m., and by then the streets, side streets and parking lots were overflowing with participant’s vehicle. So, with great cars to look at, good food to enjoy, rock ‘n roll playing throughout the show and talking with other “car crazy people” the hours flew by. The show also provides a venue for free car safety inspection by the NSRA Safety Inspectors; it’s a 23 point inspection and is definitely a bonus.
We had a great time and will be there again next year. Here are the pictures….enjoy!
