 at Old World Village
Nov 5, 2011
Huntington Beach, CA.
Story and Photographs by Roger Rohrdanz

Roger Rohrdanza

Old World Village is a unique shopping, dining, art & entertainment center located on 8 acres in Huntington Beach, California. It is known for its Oktoberfest, dachshund races and Classic Car Saturdays. The village has the Old World German Restaurant, a Euro Market, a Bakery with the best breads, pastries, apple strudel, black forest cake, and a Deli that carries German cold cuts, cheeses, and they also make sandwiches.
Classic Car Saturday begins at 4:00pm after the classic cars are parked on the sidewalks inside the Village. This gives the spectators a unique view of the cars in an old village setting. Outside the Village, in the parking lot, several rows of these nostalgic cars were on display. After the judging was completed, around 7:00pm, the award winners were announced. Then the winning Raffle tickets were drawn for some very nice prizes.
Thanks for the Show!
