54 cars braved the hill and the heat to due battle in the third annual Adult Soap Box Derby. The hill claimed 3 victims in some Fantastic wheel to wheel racing. Speeds got as high as 44 miles per hour. Each car was given 3 runs down hill and then those times were averaged to determine the fastest cars. The fastest 16 were then placed in a bracket race.
