The 31st Annual Bent Axles Cruise & BBQ Weekend was held recently in Santa Maria, with the show staged in beautiful Old Town Orcutt...this small village has recently undergone a surge in new construction in the downtown, with period architecture of the many stores and restaurants...a perfect setting for the more than 200 entries that take part in the car show...a poker walk is held to let the guests enjoy the village at their own pace, there is a craft show as well as an antiques and collectible show also held in the village, providing something for everyone, and if that's not enough, there are door prizes, 50/50 drawing, live music and more.....and that's just Saturday!
