One of the contenders, “X S Cash”, owned by Dave & Joyce Emery of Rochester Hills, MI was thought by many to be a likely winner. Dave & Joyce built a previous Ridler Winner “32 Revolver” which went on to be the only car in ISCA History to win the Triple Crown. But that was not to be this year.... as always there were 7 excellent cars that didn’t win the Ridler ... but they are all WINNERS .... as the club of the “Great 8” is a very small club indeed ... and one that any car guy would be happy to be a member of ... so kudos to Dave & Joyce for their really fabulous car.
