Saturday we attended the annual Cool Car Cruise in Bremerton to ring in the New Year. It was 21 degrees when we started out under clear skys and the mountains were brilliant. Do to an unexpected mechanical malfunction, we had to leave the rod behind and take my little VW bug to the event.  We 

parked away from the venue, but were soon engulfed by participants as the cars kept coming, weestimated probably over a hundred vehicles. It was a great turnout. The organizers did a great job, even providing a warming station!
