Back again at the Ultimate Motorsports Extravaganza in the nation called MOTORAMA. I could not believe the massive amount of motorsport fans attending this event. The lines were blocks long on Sunday. This event is held at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex & Expo Center in Harrisburg Pennsylvania. This complex was built upon agriculture for the Pennsylvania Farm Show which began in 1917 and has grown to cover 24 acres of arena space. Motorama’s Rod, Custom and Tuner Show is the only indoor show of its kind and is hosted alongside an additional 800,000 sq feet of motorsports racing and events. Over $20,000 in cash and prizes awarded and more that 100 various awards will be distributed to top contenders.
This year Charity Partner is Foundation 529 which is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to providing young riders with the top of the line safety equipment. They help to educate youth riders and others about the importance of wearing proper safety equipment at all times. They donate Arai helmets and Leatt neck braces to riders under the age of 18. The staff members of the organization have been trained to fit each person that a helmet or neck brace is given to. They are measured and tested for a custom fit. This way each child has equipment fitted just for them. As most of you know, MX sports are very expensive. Not everyone is able to afford the safest equipment on the market.
Started in 2008, Foundation 529 has been able to donate over 50 helmets and more that 20 neck braces. They are extremely proud of this achievement and will continue to keep our youth riders protected and informed about proper safety equipment.
