On September 3rd, after the Maple Falls Show and Shine, we were invited on a Rod Run to Picture Lake on Mt. Baker in Whatcom County. The weather was perfectly warm, cloudless and just what the doctor ordered for a run to one of the highest points in the county. Our elevation when starting was about 650 ft. above sea level, ending at more than 4000 ft. above sea level on a 25 mile journey through some of the prettiest scenery you’ll ever see. Photos were taken at the top with the peak of 10781 ft high Mt. Baker in the background. Capping this perfect day was a meal at Glacier, WA. and a evening spent in a cosy cabin in the woods.
