Cruisin’ Classics has been operating their Saturday night cruise for 12 years now. The cruise is located at the Canadian tire store lot in the 427--queensway area, close to performance improvements head quarters.
I had heard that around 200 + cars were showing up on a regular basis to this sho , so I filled my 8 gallon tank and ventured west to Mississauga from my location in Whitby. I had my map book in case I got lost, because an east ender crossing Toronto’s Yonge street, the dividing street, and heading westbound, is into uncharted western territory for most of us.
The show on this particular night was most typically a lot of 60's vehicles, some were extremely well done. A BLACK CHARGER ( toooooo black mopar) had extensive aluminum engine bay work and showed a lot of thought and creativity in doing it. The motor also featured all aeroquip hose and proper hose end construction. No fake stuff on this one. Take note of the 38-39 dodge convertible sedan, an extremely rare bird indeed. At first I thought it was restored until I spotted the louvered hood and the tires. Some cars were absolute stunners walking up to them, but for some reason do not show well in my photos....especially a black 55 chev.
A nice hot sweaty night cruise with lots to see and admire.
