With nothing to do on Saturday the 26th, I took a 50 mile drive to see what the Texas Mile was all about. I drove thru the rolling hills west of Goliad, not seeing much in the way of traffic, then took a right turn and what a line of cars! The attendance at this event was really outstanding. It was kind of a “Run What You Brung” for the standing mile run. I saw top speed of 239, not much at the start, but at the big end it was something. I had lots of fun.
