year’s visit this was the place to be. By 8:00 there was over 150 cars on the track and by 11 it was filled end to end both sides of the � mile strip.

This year featured Rocky Pirrone and his Boss Hydro 1933 Willys AA/GASSER and the Soul Survivor AA/Nitro Comp Coupe Dragster running on a full load of NITRO...! Rocky’s Dad ran at this track back in the late 60's. Jeff Lear had his twin engine dragster, Ken Kull had his Red Baron Gasser and the Ken Hall Paddy Wagon wheel stander was also part of the startup extravaganza.

Vargo Drag Strip was run from 1960, with the help of The Lehigh Valley Timing Association, before closing in 1969.
