What a great day at the PHILADELPHIA MODIFIERS YESTERYEAR DRAGS AND CAR SHOW .. Finally after 4 years there was NO rain and what a day for a show. The place was packed and the temps in the 70’s made it a great day. On hand were a few Race Cars tacking the � mile with the likes of Rocky Pirrone Screaming Eagle FC & Big Time Memories Gasser, Chris Massarella Total Insanity FC, Geo Reidnauer Frantic Ford FC and many others.
The Philadelphia Modifiers Car Club began informally back in 1949 meeting at Rose Auto Parts in the Germantown area of Philadelphia. They were rodders and racers who often raced their cars at the local drag strips like the 1/8th mile strip in Hatfield or Convair Field in Allentown.
