Hey Guys
   It’s been a long, cold winter.... but there have been a few bright spots. One in particular is this bright yellow (steel) ‘32 Vicky belonging to our buddy, John McCue.  February 28, Saturday evening several of us got together to set the body on the frame.  It was a dual-purpose get together. On Monday morning, John was scheduled to have heart bypass surgery! The good news is that John made it through with four bypasses and is doing better - we should have him back hot rodding in no time....
   Anyway, Tony, Jim, L.B., Greg, Gary, and yours truly met at John’s “taj-garage” for the work at hand.  I was having back spasms so I opted to record it with my camera for memories when we get old(er).
   John also has a couple of other cars and another project. Note the cool little MG Midget he’s working on.  Also, he’s often seen driving his Chevy II “Sleeper”.   So let’s see some pics!!! Steve Arnett!!!

   John does impeccable work.  He’s one of those guys that causes the rest of us to step up our level of craftsmanship. This Vicky is going to be one sweet piece from the old school of thought. You’ll note the steel wheels and 3 deuces. Even though it has CA tags during the build, we’re all just a bunch of WV “hillbillys”.
   Tony’s feeling real good about himself after the lift and before his Dr. Pepper.  Look for shots of his car in the future - anyone remember the old Rod Shop Anglia drag car?!! And L.B. is (re)building his ‘40 Ford Woody that he’s had for (how many years L.B.??)...
