I bought the car (basket case) 5 years ago , but did not start on it until the summer of 2001. I had built a drag car almost 20 years earlier, but had not done anything since then.  I did not even have a garage at first and now it is only a temporary garage, but at least it is out of the rain and snow. I do have plans for a nicer garage, but it is difficult to build the car and a garage at the same time.
  I started with a rust free birdcage from California and had the body from a burnt rusty 63 that I put onto this car. The front and rear clip are after market and the tubs are made by me. They will be smoothed out and painted, so there are visible from inside the car( no upholstery on the tubs) I made a body jig out of 2 x 6"s (octo jig) so I could roll the car around and work on it at 45 degree angles. I sent a pic of my better half as she could roll it over

 I worked on the body for about a year and then in Jan/Feb of 2004 I sent it to a friends body shop in Wasaga Beach Ontario (B@B restoration) where he did some work and got it into the first stage of primer. This pic was taken when it came home at the end of April
