As the final day of competition dawns in Utah, we're giving you a gallery of action that took place on Thursday. The crews, racers, SCTA volunteers, and even the spectators must be exhausted by this point, so any action that takes place on Friday will most likely be for record runs or a few glory shots on the "dangerous" tune-up to see if any more performance can be race cars that have been getting hammered on all week. The Poteet and Main crew were debating swapping their big motor in for what would amount to one, maybe two passes on Friday, the Spectre Performance crew has packed up the SpeedLiner and headed for home after some aero-weirdness seemed to be effecting the parachutes and actually lifted the rear of the car off the ground at speed, and lots of competitors have succumbed to mechanical breakage and simply thrown in the towel.
