We missed the Missoula show last year after having been there for the "Kick-Off" year two years ago.   We always love traveling through Montana--it's such a beautiful State and were glad to be able to make it this year.    Jack loves going to Missoula because that's where his favorite "junk" yard is, and he's always looking for something you know !    We took a different route this time--going up Hwy 55 in Idaho through Grangeville and on to Missoula.  The problem with this route became apparent quickly. Although the scenery was beautiful . There were no "field cars" to speak of and no old wrecking yards along the way !   We have to find a different way back !

This old Model "A" was the closest we came to seeing a field car or barn car--and it's obvious that the owner isn't letting this one get away !

We spotted this on Highway 55 between Boise and McCall

We got to the show on Saturday morning and by about 10:00 the fairground had filled up.

We noticed that there was a lot of "real steel"  at this show and a real variety of cars.

There are certain cars starting to surface at shows lately and we noticed that trend here too.  We saw more and more station wagons, we're seeing  more Corvairs--here there were 3 convertibles, and  the newest trend,  Ford Falcon Sprints !

We've got some of all of these in our pictures here.

For obvious reasons, the first car to catch our eye was this gorgeous Pink Cadillac.

It's a '59 Convertible beautifully redone by Doug and Blue Straub of Alberta, Canada
