HotRodHotLine hit the road again last weekend--October 20,21 for the Portland Swap Meet and Car Show put on by the NorthWest Car Collectors Club.  It's not a big show but they had a really cool theme going...it's an indoor show and they had a Halloween and Fall colors sort of theme.  Several really clever displays.  The big draw here for Jack was the swap meet.  He's always looking for something-- this time it was various parts for his latest acquisition...a '64 Falcon Sprint Convertible!  He managed to pick up some really nice leather seats for it...and he saw a guy with some Flowmaster muffles for $10 and instead of stopping and getting them he walked on by  - went back and later--guess what...GONE!!!  Of course--he's been getting beat up over that one since we left!  He'll feel really good about it when he goes to buy new mufflers!
As usual in Portland, it threatened to rain most of the time although there were just a few showers.  It did seem that there weren't as many people there as last year.

Jacks eagle eyes spotted this '57 Chevy wagon .

A nice looking Chevy delivery.

Wonder what caught these guys attention...

We did notice they have a new sculpture in front of the Smithsonian building...our tax dollars at work...giving us car folks culture I guess...

This guy seems to have the right idea!

Think of all the possibilities!!!

What are they doing to that Caddy...
