The Philadelphia Modifiers Car Club began informally back in 1949 ~ meeting at Rose Auto Parts in the Germantown area of Philadelphia.  They were rodders and racers who often raced their cars at the local dragstrips like the 1/8th mile strip in Hatfield or Convair Field in Allentown.
We have a few pictures from the past, as well as a few of present club members' cars.  You can learn more about the Philadelphia Modifiers by visiting their website where you will find a complete history, club album and more !

We'd like to thank Tom Hover, past President of the Philadelphia Modifiers for telling us about this great old club and for helping us get information and pictures.  Thanks also to
