Well, Cat has done it again.. Great pictures and excellent commentary from this years Performance Racing Industry Trade show.   Cat took in all the booths and saw a lot of really cool new products. So let's sit back and enjoy Cat's Excellent Adventure !

Is it winter already? Darn! Myself, Pro/Street Tim & Paul need a race fix bad!  So we head off to Indianapolis for the PRI show at the RCA dome.
No snow, temps in the 50's, ahhh.. This should bring 'em out!

We started spotting some of racing's brightest stars.Warren and son Kurt Johnson of NHRA's Pro/Stock Class were there!  In case you've been locked up in a cave with the Taliban, WJ was the 2001 NHRA Pro/Stock Points Champion.

Linda Vaughn was there and we got her to autograph pictures for us!

I'll bet you guys don't know who the big guy in the chair is!
Here's a hint He was a shining star in the NBA, and now that he's retired, he's racing!
Ya mean ya still don't know????
How about "Nice Guy" Larry Nance!!!

And one of my heroes World of Outlaws SUPERSHOE Sammy Swindell.
Let me tell you folks that have an attitude toward 'ol Sammy.  We stopped and asked Sammy if it would be ok to get his picture. We got the picture and asked him how he was feeling. For those that don't know, Sammy was seriously hurt at a race last fall. A push truck pulled out onto the track just as the green flag dropped, and Sammy hit it FULL BORE!!!
Sammy talked to us and showed us his hand that had been screwed and wired together. He is genuinely a very misunderstood nice guy.

GO SAMMY!!!

Here's Russell Landrum from Landrum Spring Service. He supplies a lot of springs to the Nascar boys!

So you think you've seen the coolest thing for your hot rod and then... BAM!!!
Here's my pick for "Coolest New Product"
It's a dash that will be marketed to street rodders soon. Do you think you've seen one of these before? Well, maybe...if you are a Formula One fan . I think these things start at $1600 and go to $2800. Better save your lunch money, but it sure is cool! Their home office is in the UK.
Hey ! Maryann... the Concorde is flying again ya know!!

Thought about a new rear end?

How about a nice new pitbox to keep your 2 1/2 " wrenches in!
