1966 MUSTANG FASTBACK RESTOMOD THE BEAST
My car is a 1966 Mustang Fastback Resto-mod. It was a total ground up rebuild, transformation from 2001 to 2008. All the work was done in Southern California. The previous owner had the car built for road racing, and no expense was spared, only the top parts & components by the top people. I have owned a lot of Mustangs in my life, but this one is the WICKED car I ever had the PLEASURE of driving! The motor was built by Greg Grosset At Total Performance, Inc in Santee, CA. It has Ford Racing 302 Block, Eagle 331 Stroker Kit, forged Crank, forged H Connecting rods, Edelbrock heads, Ron Davis radiator, programmable Big Stuff 3 Pro fuel injection, Vortec T Trim Race Supercharger, (and much more), Dyno�d at 569 rear wheel H.P. Trans is TKO close ratio 5 speed with Hurst shifter & hydraulic clutch. Rear is Ford 9" w/Moser 35 Splined axles, 3:73 Gears, & Limited slip diff. Custom made carbon fiber drive shaft. 4 wheel Wilwood disc brakes, 6 piston front calipers w/14"slotted rotors, 4 pistons & 13" on rear. Complete suspension supplied & installed by Total Control Products, CA, sub frame connector kit, Front coilover Suspension, rear pushrod coilover suspension, Power Rack & Pinion Steering, Bump Steer Kit. Billet hood hinges. 22 gal fuel cell Full 3" S.S. exhaust. Tilt wheel, Vintage gauges, billet pedals, 3" competition seat belts. Previous owner built luxury ships and had his interior crew make & install the custom leather interior with Alcatera inserts. Alpine stereo system with built in CD player and power amplifier. 17x 8" American Racing Torque Thrust wheels w/Yoko 235/45 ZR17 Performance Radials. $23,000. Mirror Smooth Custom Paint.
