Original Tucson car that I bought in 2003.  It needs a lot of work to be completed but looks good enough to drive while I slowly get things replaced on it.  Came with a 327 engine, PS, air and radio.  I have had dual exhaust put on and had the PG tranny replaced with a T350.  My son and I enjoyed taking it to the Pima Air Museum car show which was held inside under the wings of a B-29 bomber. The car has a ZZ-3 motor and 9" ford rear, 700-R4 tranny. Car was finished in 2001. Car is driven to every show and every weekend just because I love and believe in driving them and not trailering them. The car has won numerous best of show and has won the Good Guys award in Charlotte 1 year. It has 6 way power seats, Vintage air, tilt, etc. Car is still in near perfect condition even after 4 years after the rotisserie Resto was done on the car. There was not any rust on the car when the car was restored and to my knowledge, it still does not have any.

This is my 1932 Ford Hiboy Roadster, that was built with help from my dad. It started with a 200 dollar glass body shell, that my dad bought 30 years ago, and gave it to me when I was 7 years old, I am now 25, and completed the car last year, and already put almost 3700 miles on it. It's pure 60's with all the goodies. So here are a few pictures. John Persson JR

"Old Skool Kool"

What it says on the trunk lid. It's a 1947 Ford coupe powered by a sort a stock 350 Chevy dressed to look like a Vintage 283 Corvette motor. Front suspension is an aftermarket Mustang II. Trans is a 400 turbo hooked to a 9" Ford rear. I'm continually making updates like P/S, leather Impala seats, heat & air etc. A great driver. This is my first "non-painted" car and I absolutely love the look. (you need to have gray hair to understand it) The car is actually black urethane with a flattening agent added. Just a fun ride.

It started out as a ‘50 Ford coupe but has many 51 parts plus some custom touches also. The engine and trans are from a ‘95 Fleetwood Cadillac, completely stock. A ‘74 Camaro sub frame helped with this conversion plus supplied disc brakes and power steering. Vintage air keeps us cool on those hot days and Cadillac Eldorado power and heated seats help if it gets too cool on the inside. 17” BMW wheels keep it rolling. This car is new from the ground up, no expense spared to be sure it is safe and dependable. I did most of the work on Saturdays and at night. Hopefully my future spare time will be cruising with my wife in our new 50 Coupe. Bruce

More Images: Craig Soja’s Cars

I'm sending 2 pictures of Craig Soja's cars.  He’s from Linden, Michigan.  Craig built these cars at his Dads Collision Shop.  The 1948 Chevy has a 427 c.i. motor,  turbo 400 trans and 9" Ford rear.  Craig narrowed & tubbed it, himself.  He also added a 1968 Camaro sub frame and ghost flames to finish it off. Craig also put together a 1964 Chevelle 2-door wagon with a 427 c.i. motor when he was working at Special Projects in Plymouth, MI as a Concept Car builder for GM & Fords.  He built the 4-1/2" tall cowl fiberglass hood for his Chevelle.  Craig sold both cars, they are now in Southern California.  I would appreciate it if, you put these cars in Readers Rides for Craig Soja.  He pasted away in 2004. We wanted to let the world know that Craig could do anything with a car.  Craig was truly CAR CRAZY!!!
