More Images: Tom and Olga Crosby’s 1954 Chevy Panel Truck
I chopped it 4", sectioned it 3-1/2", rear pick up truck fenders, the rear barn doors are now hatch backed. Fatman front with air bags on all corners, 350, 700R, Trans AM rear with 4 wheel disk brakes. The truck came out of a 30-year sleep on my buddy’s farm. The truck was rotted above the front fenders on the cowl. They said I was nuts to fix it. All of the fenders, hood and grill were junk. I made molds from a good grill and now sell them. Don't junk them street rod them.

Here's a pic of my '34 Ford Pickup. It's an all steel pickup that has been in my family for 40 years. It started out as a 1/4 mile drag truck in the '60's. It has a 428 cu. inch Ford Big Block, C6 transmission, and Dana 60 posi rear. Everything on the truck including body work, paint, and interior was done by myself and my son, who will be the proud owner of the truck someday.

'68 Chevrolet Pickup Alan Shoemaker ~ Australia
Stock big block (396ci) truck, with stock tilt wheel, tach and AC. For the '98 Hot Rod Power Tour I installed a 700R automatic tranny, and wondered why I hadn't done it before. It's been lowered with dropped spindles and blocks in the rear, with the help of lowered springs a total of 5" in the front and 7" in the rear. It runs on stock Rallye Wheels with BFG's, wheels painted the same as on the body, which is GM Teal and Sea Foam Green, with knock off spinners. The bed has been sprayed with a coating, Sea Foam Green in color, so I can still haul items in it, it is after all a truck!

More Images: Bar-B-Que Pit Sent In By HL Bartell ~ College Station, TX
Took photo of this neat little street rod at the Rod & Custom Show in college Station, Texas on June 11, 2004. Actually it was cleverly built as a Bar-B-Que pit! The ice chest is under the cover with the Bar-B-Que tools and a freezer in the back in the gas tank. This was about 7 ft long and was towed behind his street rod. Enjoy, HL Bartell.

It started life as a 5-window and has been cut everyway possible and now is a 3-window. It runs 20" rear tires that are truck tires with the tread ground off. The shifter sticks out of the open roof and the carb scoop was a wok before Bob Biehler took it off his wife's deck and turned it into a skull. The eyes and mouth both open and shut with linkage on the side hooked to the throttle and of course decorates the top of a Hemi.

More Images: '70 Nova SS "Neighbors' Complaint" Bryan & Angela Campbell ~ Independence, KY
I have owned this beauty for 4 years. It has taken a lot of patience and a lot of $$$$ but the end result is a powerful one. Throughout those 4 years I've had more than my share of neighbors slamming their doors shut in frustration. That's how the name came to be! This rod really pounds the pavement and can definitely fly down a quarter mile. Completely restored and engine rebuilt, this car is a show winner wherever it goes.
