Very Rare. Documented by Chrysler as the only one they have seen. 1142 manufactured. The thing that makes this one very unusual is the windows that roll up & down, a factory back seat. I've sub'ed it a Camaro rear-end tilt. If anyone knows if they have seen one, please let me know.

More Images: Dave's "Beat '53" Dave Serricchio ~ Connecticut
The picture with all the pieces is the way I purchased the car about 2 months ago, it was sitting in a barn in Connecticut for the past 30 years. Apparently 30 years ago the original owner sent the car to the dump and this fellow bought it and never could get around to finishing it. We went through the car and replaced everything from the ground up, motor and tranny are all brand new, all rebuilt. We replaced everything on the outside of the motor and just got it on the road on October 24, 2003, and been cruising ever since.

Here's a real hot car, 53 flathead, with 400 heads, 3/4 race cam, three deuces. Known as The Flaming Vulture, shoots between 40 & 70 ft flames, can go higher, but could get a little hairy if the wind should kick up. Could come back & bite you, on the you know what, shoots up & down the east coast. Lots of fun, gets quite hot back there, over 2500, have to use fire proof blanket.

More Images: '33 Ford Speedstar Jim Hubbell ~ Fond du lac, WI
My Speedstar as shown last year in the ISCA show car circuit. I did well with it in the eastern division doing only five shows. It started out as a coupe, but I made it into a roadster with a removable top and roll-up windows. I work for Mercury Marine, so it has a Hi performance 502 built by one of our off shore race engine technicians, Alloway chassis of course, Ogden Top and Trim interior. I love Bob Lowes '32's so it has a lot of style and looks of his '32. I hope you like!

'39 Ford Coupe Dale Moreau ~ Portland, OR
Built by the Wiarda brothers in Hampton, NE. They bought it from a man near them that had owned it since 1959. I'm an automotive journalist. I had a photo assignment in St. Louis about the time I saw this car on Hot Rod Hot Line, so with a lull in the shooting, flew 1 hour to Nebraska. Hired a car & drove out into the country to meet with Mark & Todd, & of course look at the car. This shot was from the Mosier, Oregon cutoff high above the river. Every year on our anniversary we go up to Hood River, Oregon & have lunch at the historic Columbia Gorge Hotel.
