Don's '27 Ford Roadster Pickup

The picture was taken at the September happening in Seaside Oregon. Very good car show where the main streets are closed on Sat and Sun for street rodders only. It's my last show for the year as the weather is not very good for roadsters till summer. The chassis for my truck was built by Ray Zarick's Model T shop in Sacramento with 4-WDB. The engine is a crate 350 with a 350 transmission. The body is all steel from Montana.

A Great Find in Canada!

Al Cook in Ontario found this beauty in Saskatchewan. It sat on it's side in a farmers field for who knows how long. The passenger side door was filled to the top with good prairie soil and it took two men to remove it from the car. After 2 years (and a ton of money) it's back on the road. This good looking coupe is powered by a 454 Chevy BB, 700R4 Trans. All it needs now is an interior... but that doesn't keep Al from driving the wheels off of it!

New Flames for this Roadster

Zach Atwood just got the flames done about a month ago on his '26 T Roadster. It has a built Buick 231 with Turbo 350 Trans. He wants to redo the interior but that won't stop him from hitting the shows this summer.

An Oldie from Omaha!

Ken Paulhamus bought this '31 Model A about 2 years ago. It has a '57 283 Corvette Engine and Four Speed Tranny. It had been setting for about 18 years and Ken is on a "rescue mission" to finish it up...trouble is he can't decide whether to leave it Nostaglic or start pumping the bucks into it to go the Street rod route. We'll have to check with him to see what he decides to do!

The Hoffmans '63 Galaxie

Bruce and Linda Hoffman are Rodders after our own heart. They love them all! This is their '63 Galaxie 500 XL that they bought locally about 5 years ago. It had been sitting since '72 with a broken engine and Bruce just happened to have a 351 Windsor and C-4 Trans in good shape that bolted right into it. After a little fiddling with the braking system they got it going and stopping like it should and have been driving it to Good Guys ever since. The car has only 61,000 original miles on it!

The Hoffman Familys' "Spiffy"

Bruce & Linda purchased Spiffy in '76 as a partially disassembled original. They spent 7 years with it in primer as the Family "Outing" car. Piled high with camping gear & kids they drove the wheels off this car! In '85, after lots of work on a tight budget, "Spiffy" came to look as it does in this photo. They've put over 250k miles on it, with no trouble at all. The family had a great time over the years and a lot of good memories....that's what "rodding" should be! Thanks to Hoffman’s of Tonowanda, NY. Great Story!
