This car was so called customized in the early '40's. It has been in a museum up till the early '50's. I was purchasing the car for $1,800; but, on the way to get the car, I found out that the car caught fire so I got it for $650. It was a very suspicious fire! I bought it anyway and started the task of finding '35 LaSalle parts this was in 1970. 350 Chevy bored out 40 over, 10 and a half compression, ported and polished heads, a holly 800 4 barrel carb, tranny a 400 turbo, rear '48 Cad, and disc front brakes. It took around 2 years to complete it. I'm glad the fire burnt off the ugly rear fin. See below for the final results!
